Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing this note to express my thanks and gratitude to the service team at your Tingalpa Service Centre.
On Thursday 20 October 2011, my wife and I were driving from the Gold Coast to john Crawford Marine on Manly Road to pick up a boat and return to Townsville. Our RTV ute began running extremely rough and it was fortunate that we seen your service centre on the comer of Wynnum and Manly Roads. We arrived at 8:30 am and I spoke to one of the receptionists (Lisa) and then the service manager (Iain) and explained our situation. (The ute had been serviced in Townsville the week before.)

Iain told me that he would try and get a diagnosis done on the engine at about 9:00am and would contact me with the diagnosis.
Approximately 9:10 am the head mechanic rang and told me that 2 coil packs were not working properly and a third was on the way out. He suggested replacing all the coil packs, and a leaking vacuum hose also needed to be replaced. He then advised the approximate cost to which I agreed and I was then told the car would be ready by 12 o’clock or earlier if possible. We thought this was terrific as we did not expect to get going until Friday at the earliest.

At 10:30 am my wife and I returned to the service centre to wait for the repairs to be completed. As we walked to the reception area the ute was being parked outside the workshop. The repairs had been completed and we were able to pick up the boat and continue our return home by I 1:15am.
I believe the service that we received from your Tingalpa team was up with the best we have ever had from any business anywhere and to do the work so we could continue back to Townsville is a credit to themselves and your company. The staff were courteous and polite and at no stage did our problem seem to be a hassle for them or their schedule.

I would be pleased if you could convey this message of thanks to all the staff at the Tingalpa Service Centre.

I hope you are well!

Last week my partner and I purchased a new Ranger from Bryan Byrt Ford, Upper Mt Gravatt and would like to share this experience with you.

Being females, we are usually already at some sort of disadvantage when we walk into a car yard. We are either ignored, patronised or bullied by guys who think we are pigeons who can be taken advantage of because we 'don't know anything about cars'.
Hence, our guard is up immediately and is probably tougher than usual to penetrate. We are 2 cluey gals who are totally on to all the tricks - we have been trained and conditioned to be like this!

So..... my partner first visited another dealership close by to begin the browsing. The salesman displayed all the behaviours mentioned above but with an extra dose of arrogance and a hint of cockiness. Sigh.... typical.

She then stopped by Bryan Byrt Ford, Upper Mt Gravatt and, fortunately, met a lovely chap by the name of Hannes Ferreira. Instant likability. Andrina called me straight away and gushed about Hannes and was genuinely excited about the prospect of buying a car from him.

I thought 'hmmmmpf.... I'll be the judge of that' because it's pretty hard to impress me (I blame this on years of having the wall up haha). The next day (Saturday) we both went up to see Hannes and the Ranger.

We would like you to know that you have a really great bloke working with you. Hannes is not like any other sales consultant we have ever met because he was the complete opposite of what they are supposed to act like:

1. He didn't act like a desperate vulture circling female prey 2. He didn't speak down to us or assume we knew nothing (which is just as well - we actually know a LOT about cars) 3. He let us think and didn't pressure us to do anything 4. He didn't mind when we left the dealership to talk about it, which we know is a 'sin' - especially on a Saturday 5. He was honest with what he knew and didn't know

These traits should be encouraged and supported! No one likes to feel pressured over such a big purchase. Surely this makes sense! Think about all those times when you've walked into a store and a persistent sales person latched on to you and didn't leave you alone..... I bet you were out of there within 10 seconds because it feels stifling and horrible! Hannes was there when we needed him but left us alone at the right times. We don't know what the rest of your sales team is like but if they are like Hannes, they will make you ridiculous amounts of money. Hannes has exceptional sales and up-selling skills (we would have walked away with the WildTrak but Andrina didn't like it. I loved it though!).

Our experience with Hannes has been unexpectedly brilliant. We have told everyone we know (and anyone who'll listen) that Hannes at Bryan Byrt Ford Mt Gravatt is the guy to see if they want a new car.

We love our new baby and will definitely be back when it's time to upgrade.

Please, if you have any sort of incentive program, hook Hannes up - he well and truly deserves it.

Please also pass on our sincere thanks to Jason Hodges from finance who was extremely diligent and patient whilst dealing with ANZ, whose mistakes nearly shanked it for us. Cheers Jason!!

I had my ranger serviced on the 12 August 2010 at the Mansfield depot.

I would like to say that I received good service outside when droppoing my car off. But I would also like to tell you about the good service that I received from the Service Reception officer..

I received an email from Carolyn Connors, Service Reception confirming my service and then on the day, Carolyn drove the coursey vehicle and dropped my son (7 yrs old) and I to Garden City shopping centre. During the drive to Garden City, Carolyn made conversation with my son & I. In the afternoon when the vehicle was ready, Carolyn picked us up and returned us to the depot. During the return drive Carolyn remembered our conversation from the morning, especially about what my son & I were doing during the day (going to the movies) and Carolyn asked my son if he had enjoyed the movie and the time spent with his dad.

I was very impressed with the customer service that I received on the day, especially from Carolyn.

Sir, I understand that you are the dealer principal at Bryan Byrt Ford.

On Thursday the 8th July 2010 I purchased a new Ford Ranger XLT from your Upper Mt Gravatt premises.

I purchased this truck with the intention of looking cool at the gun club, going to out of the way fishing spots and towing an upmarket off road camper trailer around Australia early next year.

I have been working in Iraq for the last 6 years training Spec Ops Police & Commandos and running convoys.
Currently i am Operations Manager of Threat Management Group (TMG) a large Security Company operating throughout Iraq.

Travelling around Australia camping is a dream i have had for the last 6 years working in this place and purchasing this truck puts me well on the way to realise this dream.

The reason I am writing to you is by way of appreciation and to say that my dealings with your company and the personnel involved in the purchase of this truck has been nothing short of exceptional.

The dealings I had with your salesperson Cory Clark couldn't have been better from the consumer perspective, he streamlined the purchase process and had the truck ready for pick-up on time and without hassle. It was a pleasure dealing with him.

Tiia the young lady that sold me the electronic rust prevention was also pleasure to deal with as was Clint Buchanan the Business Manager who arranged insurance (sorry didn't need finance).

As a result sir I have had an incredibly enjoyable buying experience and you have got me as a repeat customer (will have to replace the wife’s car soon).
You have a great team working for you (from my experience) and they are a credit to your organisation.

It is a pleasure to report the team in Bryan Byrt Ford's service department is a credit to the company name and reputation. I especially found Vaughan courteous, forthright, generous, and very easy to comprehend when it came to the repairs needed on my vehicle. I'm extremely grateful for his efforts and I'm elated knowing my car is as good as new again.
